Annual Events - Hamilton Chinese School

2024 Summer School Registration is open!

Hamilton Chinese School orfer free Summer Program from July 2^th to 26^th 2024 for Any child that is: 4 years old or older as of December 31st, 2024, enrolled in an elementary school or Private school in Ontario. You will participate 2.5 hours in-person classes everyday.

Due to the limited number of classes, participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the class is full, interested participants will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted should room become available. Once a student has registered and enrolled in a class, the Instructor will contact the parent/guardian to provide information on the name of the instructor, and the day and time of the class.

Registration (Sept. 2023 to June 2024 School Year)is over

The Hamilton Chinese School offers free Chinese classes to students enrolled in the elementary school for 2023 - 2024 school year and to those attending a private school or home-school. No prior knowledge of Chinese is necessary.

Once a student has registered and the class has been organized, the Instructor will contact the parent/guardian to provide information on the name of the instructor, and the day and time of the class.

In-person and online classes will be held at the following locations.

Chinese New Year

Our Chinese New Year celebration brings together the families of all three of our schools for an evening of singing, dancing, presentations from our students, a traditional lion dance, and a potluck dinner afterward.

Graduation Ceremony

Our Graduation Ceremony celebrates the time that our Grade 8 students have spent at our school, the skills and knowledge that they have learned, and their achievements.

This event includes all families from all three of our school locations and brings together the families of all three of our schools for an evening of singing, dancing, presentations, greetings from dignitaries, and a potluck dinner afterward.
